Stemma
Terms of use
Last updated 6 November 2026 · Draft: to be reviewed before payments are switched on.
Who we are
Stemma is run by [FULL NAME], self-employed (autónomo), NIF [NIF], [STREET ADDRESS], Madrid, Spain. Questions: privacy@lanum.eu.
What Stemma does
You upload a family tree file, choose a chart and a design, and we make a print file (PDF) of your chart. You print it yourself, at home or at any print shop. We do not print or ship anything.
Your file and the people in it
- Upload only files you are allowed to use. Family trees often include living relatives: please make sure they are happy to appear on a chart, or use “Hide the birth years of living people”.
- Photos you add must be yours to use.
- We use your file only to make your chart, as described in our Privacy Policy, and delete it 30 days after you last used it.
Your chart
- The chart you create is for your own and your family’s private use: print it, frame it, give it as a gift, share a picture of it.
- The chart designs, layouts and the Stemma name remain ours. Please do not resell charts or designs, or offer them as a service of your own.
- Download links work for 30 days. Keep a copy of your file.
Free while in beta
While Stemma is new, charts are free. We may change or stop the free offer at any time. When charts are paid, the price is shown before you pay, and you can ask for a refund within 14 days if a chart could not be made or does not match its preview.
Our responsibility
We work hard to read your file correctly, but family tree files differ. Check names and dates on the preview before you print. Stemma is provided as it is; to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for printing costs or for errors in the data you upload. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer.
Law
These terms follow Spanish law. If we cannot settle a disagreement together, the courts of your place of residence in the EU decide.
